If you’ve never been paddle boarding, here is the perfect opportunity. You can take a boat into Resurrection Bay and arrive at Bear Glacier: the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park – measuring 12-miles long. At the base of the glacier is a salt-water lagoon that is surrounded by the most spectacular sights; mountains of wilderness tower over you while massive icebergs fill the lagoon. Don’t worry if you’re not an experienced paddleboarder, the water in this area is protected from waves and majestically calm. Drysuit, board and boat ride are all included for a tour that leaves at about 7am and returns near 5pm. $299/day.
